AGREEMENT BETWEEN SCHOOL AND BANK:
K.S.A. 9-1138 requires a written agreement between an accredited school and a state chartered bank to establish a school savings deposit program. Click here [pdf] to access the School Savings Deposit Program Agreement that has been approved by the Office of the State Bank Commissioner.
Once the agreement has been signed by the School Board President and the Bank official, it should be sent to the Financial Literacy Coordinator, State Treasurer's Office, 900 SW Jackson, Ste. 201, Topeka, Kansas, 66612-1235, who will get the appropriate approval.
