(TOPEKA, Kan.) - Today, State Treasurer Lynn Jenkins, CPA, formally announced the newest addition to the Treasurer's Office. Lucinda A. Anstaett will serve the citizens of Kansas as the Director of Cash Management. Anstaett will be responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, recording and depositing of all state moneys and also for the accurate recording of all disbursements made through the state warrant writing process. Through the Aid to Local Units of Government this department distributes various moneys to city and county governments according to statutory provisions.

Lucinda is a graduate of Pittsburg State University. She has worked as an accountant for various businesses in charge of accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and program management.

Having recently relocated to the Topeka community, Lucinda was active in the Newton area and looks forward to helping the citizens of Topeka. In Newton, she served on the Harvey County Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault and the Harvey County Health Department Board, is a member of the Leadership Newton class of 1990, a Trustee for Trinity Heights United Methodist Church and served on the School Bond Issue and construction steering committee for USD 373.
